Our Spanish teachers are personally selected for their quality and values
The Learn Spanish teaching team takes the success of our students personally. Unlike the big tutor directories, who, for a fee, provide users access to a list of potential tutors, our teachers are selected personally so that we can make sure they are of the highest quality. They are professionals with a vocation to teach Spanish.
We then match each student with the teacher that is best suited to support them.
This concierge service is the only way to guarantee that the student is given the best individual attention possible, and that their lessons are tailored for them and their goals.
Understanding of student level and learning style
Our free introductory session is an opportunity for student and teacher to meet.
For those with some Spanish, the tutor will begin by assessing the student’s current levels across the different elements of the Spanish language. They will discuss in more detail the student’s objectives and learning style, in order to fully personalise a learning plan.
The student will decide when they want to take their lessons, including their frequency, whether they will have time for homework and practice in between.
Lessons will be planned accordingly, and assuming the student is happy with the plan, they can start with us whenever they are ready.
As the student develops their Spanish, the plan will, naturally, be adjusted continually to ensure that they get the most out of every minute of their learning
Centred on student goals
At Learn Spanish we take a consultative approach from the beginning. This is the only way that we can understand the individual student and their goals. Some of our students are learning Spanish for fun or for travel; others are learning to further their career. Some are learning informally, others are preparing for particular exams. Many are complete beginners who want support as they get up and running; others are experienced and want to develop, for example, their conversation skills. Each student is unique and our teachers work with them accordingly.
Motivation and feedback
Keeping in mind the student’s goals and personal attributes, our teachers give on-going, considered feedback as to progress. They direct lessons according to what will produce the best results.
Each lesson is thus carefully prepared for the individual, and guidance given by the teacher as to their wins and breakthroughs, as well as where the student should focus their attention.
Those students who like another level of analysis opt to use our Learning Intelligence system. This assesses student level and progress in a detailed, formal format which some find boost their progress even further. This option can be switched on and off according to student requirement.

In addition to the personal attention that our teachers provide, our students benefit from the support of the rest of the team here at Learn Spanish. Our Learning Director oversees student success across all of our teaching, and is on hand to guide and enhance the experience and success of our students.
