Learn Spanish is an independent Spanish school based in the heart of Twickenham. Although we teach students across the UK and beyond, we remain a genuinely local business, serving students of all types and ages from Twickenham, Richmond, Teddington, Kingston and the surrounding areas.

We support local students while working with carefully selected teachers and tutors from across the Spanish-speaking world, allowing us to personally match each learner with the tutor best suited to their goals

Spanish teachers hand-selected for the student

We personally match the student with a Spanish teacher that will work specifically to their goals, taking into account the student's learning style, preferences and abilities. This tailored service, delivered by personally vetted, high-calibre tutors, ensures that every Learn Spanish student gets the most from their learning.

The majority of our lessons take place online (via video call). This gives students complete flexibility while allowing us to work with exceptional teaching talent from across the Spanish-speaking world rather than being limited by geography.

Our teaching is personal and personalised

We start by asking our students five brief questions. This enables us to understand the student's ambitions and preferences. We then match the student with a teacher, and arrange a free introductory session. The purpose of the session is to establish a tailored plan between student and teacher. If the student is happy with this, the lessons begin.

Students choose the lesson times and frequency that suit. They may take lessons entirely flexibly. Some choose to stay with us indefinitely, others take a short burst of lessons before travelling to a Spanish-speaking country, for example. Each student is free to take their own approach.

The teacher gives detailed feedback throughout, and adapts lessons on an on-going basis. This ensures that the student gets maximum benefit from every minute of study.

In addition, students who want more detailed feedback can opt for our Learning Intelligence service. This detects in-lesson patterns and analyses at phrase-level to provide performance and progress reports.

There is no typical student. We help anyone from complete beginner to advanced. We work with children as well as adults. We work with those who want to learn for fun and those who want to gain qualifications.
